About the role

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer for Quant's site in Västerås at ABB Machines. Your responsibilities will include:

• Life cycle management and criticality classification of machinery.
• System responsibility in our CMMS (IBM Maximo).
• Conduct studies to identify productivity losses and perform root cause analyses to pinpoint these losses.
• Participate in improvement projects together with the customer and internal functions.
• Optimize spare parts inventory and develop maintenance schedules.
• Prepare investment proposals for reinvestments and improvement measures.
• Develop maintenance strategies and optimize preventive maintenance.
• Monitor and act on maintenance KPIs.
• Drive digitalization and predictive maintenance.

You will become part of an experienced and cohesive team where we support each other and develop together.

About you

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or equivalent, or alternatively possess equivalent competence and experience as assessed by us.

You have good knowledge of various production concepts and several years of experience from manufacturing and/or process industries. As a person, you are highly engaged and proactive in your tasks. You enjoy building new contacts and seeing opportunities for improvement. Furthermore, you have the ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively, positively fostering engagement within a group.
