We are now looking for support assistants with nurse assistant training for our Sol housing.

Sol housing is a housing with special service according to the Social Services Act (SoL), where individuals receive individually adapted support in their daily lives with the goal of living as independent and meaningful a life as possible. At our facility, elderly citizens with various diagnoses reside, meaning that the need for support and assistance varies from person to person. The work is therefore varied and developmental, requiring flexibility, responsibility, and genuine commitment.

Each citizen lives in their own apartment, creating good conditions for independence and privacy. Adjacent to the apartments are communal areas where social activities are organized, such as bingo games, coffee breaks, and shared meals. These occasions contribute to community, participation, and a meaningful daily life. We are currently a team of ten support assistants who work closely together with a common focus on quality, collaboration, and professional interaction. Here, it is important to support each other in the work group and contribute to a positive and secure work environment. The operations are conducted in modern and pleasant premises that are still relatively new. This creates a bright and comfortable environment for both citizens and employees.

The operations currently use a shift schedule with varying working hours between 07:00 and 21:00 on weekdays and weekends. Night shifts occur. Working hours may change based on the needs and conditions of the operations.

The positions are permanent employment contracts with a work time of 80%, but you have the right to work up to full-time within other parts of the Sector for Functional Disabilities based on operational needs and in dialogue with you as an employee. Start date is by agreement.

Your new job

As a support assistant, you will provide support to the citizen based on individual needs and conditions. You help the citizen manage their daily life and all the challenges that may arise, both inside and outside the home. Your job is to create good conditions for the individual to live as independently as possible. This includes daily care measures where you provide support and help to the residents in their daily lives. We are looking for someone who feels confident in care work and has the ability to meet people with different needs, including situations that may involve challenging behavior, in a calm and professional manner. It occurs that staff drive cars to and from activities, which means that a Category B driver's license is meritorious but not a requirement.

Your qualifications

Requirements

• Support assistant who is a trained nurse assistant, further education in elderly care is meritorious
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Good computer skills

Meritorious

• Experience working with the elderly
• Experience working in psychiatry
• Experience working with care
• Category B driver's license
