We are now looking for a warehouse worker to join our team! Are you our new colleague?
Assistive Devices Centre Eastern Skåne (HÖS) coordinates the supply of assistive devices for the municipalities of Bromölla, Östra Göinge, Osby, Hässleholm, Kristianstad, Hörby, Simrishamn, Sjöbo, Skurup, Tomelilla, and Ystad. These municipalities have joined together in a joint committee where Kristianstad Municipality is the host municipality, and HÖS is organized under the Care Administration.
HÖS's mission includes providing procurement, warehousing, technical service, advice, trial fitting, recirculation, distribution, education, information, IT support, and environmentally friendly disposal of assistive devices.
Our work and values are based on professional treatment with good service and continuous improvements. Our guiding stars are respect, communication, and professional competence.
We are located at Kabelvägen 17 in Kristianstad, and 43 employees work here. We offer you a Monday to Friday position, full-time, with flexible working hours.

Your role with us
We are looking for a new colleague on a fixed-term contract to join our warehouse team. The team consists of six employees who have four different main areas of focus in their work. A general description of the areas is:
- Goods receiving, where we receive all deliveries of new goods, which are then registered in our business system and sorted to their storage locations. Some assembly of assistive devices also takes place here before distribution.
- Order processing, picking of orders made by any of the approximately 350 customers among our clients.
- Internal order processing, picking of orders placed by colleagues internally.
- Returns receiving, which receives returns from our eleven partner municipalities; here they are deregistered before being either scrapped or sent to our reconditioning group.
You will be responsible for your own warehouse area.
We pick up to 100,000 articles per year, which are loaded into transport cages for our customers. The items we pick include toilet seat risers, rollators, rubber threshold ramps, sock aids, hygiene and wheelchairs, and slide sheets, to name a few. The work is physical and may involve heavy lifting and some awkward working positions.
Who are we looking for?
We want you to have a three-year upper secondary education or other education that the employer deems equivalent. It is an advantage if you have a forklift license B for counterbalance forklifts. You should have experience from working with warehouses and goods receiving. If you also have experience from the service industry with customer contact, that is an advantage, as is product knowledge regarding assistive devices.
Since communication and documentation are part of the tasks, you must be able to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Since most work-related information comes to you through our business system, and all steps need to be reported correctly in the system for the workflow to function both within the workplace and externally, you need computer skills and experience working in business systems. You also need good knowledge of the Office package. Since the work can be physically demanding, you need good physical fitness. You must have a B driving license.
As a person, you are flexible and meticulous, able to quickly adapt to new conditions, and you see opportunities in change. Sometimes the workload is higher, so you need to be stress-resistant. You need to be able to understand the flow of operations in the business. It is a given for you to deliver with good service and high quality. You have the ability to plan and organize your work, but you also easily set goals, organize resources, follow up, and conclude activities.
You are a team player!
