About the role

Working as an operator in our tool department means being responsible for the grinding and polishing of our steel tools. Together with the team leader and your colleagues, you will plan your work through daily coordination. You will work independently, but together with knowledgeable and engaged colleagues, you will help each other achieve new successes and find productive solutions.

The workplace is at our factory in Mattmar, Jämtland. The role reports to the Production Manager. Working hours are arranged in shifts, meaning every other week you will work mornings (Monday-Thursday 05:30-14:30 and Friday 05:30-13:00) and every other week afternoons (Monday-Thursday 14:20-23:40 with Friday off).

Who we are looking for

To succeed in the role, it is meritorious if you have previously worked as a CNC operator, preferably in a mechanical workshop, or have experience and familiarity with working on tool components. It is also meritorious if you have training in tool grinding.

We are looking for someone who is keen and wants to be part of a team that creates a whole. This presupposes that you have a high focus on quality, can maintain pace, and are practical. It is important to us that you are a good team player with a strong work ethic and a desire to always do your best. In your way of working, you are meticulous, responsible, see needs, and take initiative.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age and have completed upper secondary education, or other education that the employer deems equivalent
• Can work shifts
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, to be able to understand and follow work and safety instructions
• Have good knowledge and experience of working in MS Office
