Why Norra Skog?

Here, you become part of a values-driven organization where togetherness, joy, innovation, equality, and sustainability are guiding principles. We believe in creating a culture where people thrive, develop, and perform – together.

Norra Timber processes timber from Northern Swedish forests.

Norra Timber is more than an industry – we operate in a value chain that starts in the Northern Swedish forests and extends globally. As part of Norra Skog, we are part of a member-owned forest owners' association with over 100 years of history, where the mission remains the same today as it was then: to create value for forest owners in Norrland, now and for future generations.

In our modern and technologically advanced industries, we process timber from Northern Swedish forests into high-quality products with high demand, both in Sweden and internationally. Here, the entire tree is utilized – with a focus on efficiency, innovation, and sustainable use of the raw material.

The raw material comes from one of the world's best forest areas. The slow growth in the northern climate results in timber with tight annual rings, high strength, and consistent quality. Together with our 27,000 members, we work for responsible forestry where every tree contributes to climate-smart products used in society – today and in the future.
