Do you want to own and shape information security work at an established tech company – while having a solid technical foundation to stand on? We are now looking for an Information Security Lead / Senior Sysadmin for our office in Malmö. Here, you will drive our ISO 27001 work, set the security strategy, and become our key person in information security – both for Netset and in close collaboration with our parent company, Movement Software.
For over 25 years, we have become the market leader in B2B and B2B trade software for the IT and telecom industry. Our flagship platform, Nettailer, powers web shops, purchasing flows, and distributor integrations for over 350 IT resellers – from Swedish SMEs to global companies like ATEA, Advania, Telia, and Vivicta.
About the Role
Today, we have a system administrator in place – now we want to build a stronger team with a clearer security focus. As Information Security Lead / Senior Sysadmin, you will have overall responsibility for our information security, while working together with your colleague to ensure that operations and infrastructure are maintained at the highest level.
You will work closely with our team in Malmö, but also collaborate closely with the group's central IT and security teams to drive ISO 27001 and other frameworks jointly, with Netset as your primary focus. You need to be technically knowledgeable enough to understand the server park, patching, and networks in depth – it is precisely the combination of strategic height and technical understanding that allows you to secure the balance between stable operations and the highest security level.
Your main areas of responsibility include:
Information Security & Compliance: Own, drive, and further develop the ISO 27001 work at Netset and ensure compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIS2 and GDPR).
Security Strategy & Risk Analysis: Develop, present, and manage the information security strategy towards the management group, as well as conduct ongoing risk analyses, security audits, and internal reviews.
Incident & Vulnerability Management: Establish and manage processes for incident management, vulnerability analysis, and hardening – and be the one leading the work when something happens.
Infrastructure & Operations: Together with our sysadmin, ensure operations, performance monitoring, and backup of servers at our hosting partners (mostly Linux environments) where our customers' solutions are hosted.
Process Improvements: Review, harden, and improve operational, patching, and security processes so that security is built into daily life – not an add-on.
Technical Advisory & Architecture: Act as an escalation point and security advisor to customers' IT environments/vendors, as well as support the internal organization and development team in security matters.
About You
To thrive, enjoy, and be successful in the role, your attitude is just as important as your experience. We are looking for an independent, structured team player with strong personal drive and a genuine commitment to information security. You have the ability to communicate complex technical security issues in a pedagogical way, whether you are talking to our developers or the management group.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have:
Experience leading or actively driving ISO 27001 work (certification, internal audit, or equivalent).
Good knowledge of relevant frameworks and regulations within information security, e.g., NIS2 and GDPR.
Experience in risk analysis, vulnerability management, patch management, and server hardening.
Extensive experience in IT operations in Linux environments (routing, firewalls, VPN, network security).
Practical experience with Docker and container-based workflows.
Good understanding of MS SQL (database management and performance monitoring).
It is an advantage if you have knowledge in:
SIEM, logging, and incident management.
Scripting and automation (Bash, Ansible).
Cloud security and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Virtualization (VMware/KVM), Kubernetes, Tomcat, or Apache/Nginx.
