We are looking for a driven and strategic leader to join Bolagsverket (the Swedish Companies Registration Office). We have around 700 employees based in Sundsvall, and we strive to be a workplace where you thrive, feel engaged in your mission, and find a good work-life balance. A good working environment and sustainable working life are crucial for us to succeed in our mission.
The purpose of Bolagsverket's operations is to provide conditions for a stable and well-functioning business community. By registering and providing current and accurate company information, we contribute to increased transparency and security for actors in society. We work to make it as easy as possible to start and run a business, and through collaboration with others, we contribute to preventing businesses from being used as tools for crime.
About the Role
The Crime Prevention Department is responsible for Bolagsverket's crime prevention work. The mandate includes developing the authority's control systems, identifying and handling deviations, as well as analyzing and mitigating risks.
The Control Unit has a consolidated tactical and operational responsibility for the authority's control activities within the crime prevention area. The unit is responsible for identifying and managing risks and ensuring that controls are planned, prioritized, and carried out in an effective manner. The unit also coordinates and develops internal crime prevention work, with a special focus on registration activities, and collaborates with other authorities and actors on issues concerning the audit process.
Your Responsibilities
Do you want to lead a business that contributes to counteracting economic crime and strengthening trust in the business community? As Unit Manager for the Control Unit, you will play a central role in Bolagsverket's crime prevention work. As Unit Manager, you are responsible for a unit of approximately 13 employees and have responsibility for operations, budget, personnel, and working environment. You plan, follow up on, and develop the operations based on the department's goals and priorities, ensuring that the unit's mandate is carried out in an efficient and legally secure manner.
You create conditions for good collaboration, engagement, and learning, and lead the unit through change as the operations develop. Through visible leadership, clear priorities, and close dialogue with your employees, you contribute to an operation characterized by good results and continuous improvement work.
You report to the Department Manager and are part of the department's management group, where you jointly are responsible for the department's development and results.
Bolagsverket continuously develops its crime prevention work. This means you need to thrive in an operation where new ways of working, processes, and mandates are emerging, and where you have the opportunity to influence the direction forward. Based on the needs of the operations, Bolagsverket offers the possibility of remote work.
