About Samhall
In Sweden, 250,000 people with disabilities lack access to employment. This is why Samhall exists – to create meaningful jobs for those on the margins of the labor market. Our vision is "A labor market where everyone is seen as an asset," and we believe that you, reading this, share our passion for these words. For us, inclusion and development are at the core of everything we do. No matter where you work within our organization, our purpose is ever-present, and accessibility, along with the belief that all people possess competence, serves as both our compass and driving force.
We are a company of 24,000 employees, including approximately 1,500 managers and specialists, operating nationwide. Together, we work towards a more inclusive labor market that benefits individuals, organizations, and society at large.
Welcome to Samhall!
The Role of Area Manager
Being an Area Manager at Samhall places you at the absolute center of our operations. You lead a team of approximately 25-30 employees working on various client assignments. Your primary goal is to provide your employees with the opportunity to discover and develop their skills, with the long-term aim of enabling them to transition to other employers. You achieve this best through close collaboration with your employees in their daily work. You get to know each individual, and together you identify their potential.
In your daily work, you also maintain close contact with your clients, ensuring that our service delivery runs smoothly. Through strong relationships and expertise in the field, you develop the business and identify opportunities for creating more job placements for Samhall's employees.
Creating the conditions for our employees' development and ensuring customer satisfaction are, therefore, the very core of our mission as a company.
What do you bring to the role?
As an Area Manager, you are operational, present, and capable of making decisions with high integrity. Experience in and comfort within a fast-paced, human-centric environment is a requirement. We also expect you to be confident and experienced in a leadership role, with a solid understanding of the tasks involved in management. If you have experience with change management, you can contribute even further to our work.
Beyond substantial knowledge, it is our value base that ensures our leaders thrive and perform well over time. Your belief in the equal value of all people, the competence of every individual, and the significance of work is what motivates you in your daily life.
To succeed in this role, you need:
- Leadership experience with responsibility for operations, personnel, and results
- Experience in customer relations with proven results
- Experience in facility cleaning is an advantage
- Previous experience with administration, documentation, and good system proficiency
- High school diploma
- Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
As an increasing number of our clients require security clearance, you must be able to undergo such a process without hindrance.
