The home care services in Lärbro and Slite operate in two different parts of northern Gotland, with varying environments and conditions. You will have your main placement in one of the areas, but it is important that you are flexible and can support other home care units if needed. Together, we collaborate across area boundaries to ensure good care, quality, and continuity for our users.

The work involves moving around the local area and working in the users' homes, where you meet people in their daily lives and provide support, care, and security. Working days are characterized by variety, responsibility, and close contact with both users and colleagues.

Each home care group consists of approximately 20 employees, with a mix of ages and varying levels of experience. Here, assistant nurses and residential assistants work in teams where collaboration is a natural part of everyday life. We are now looking for four employees for our home care group in Slite and two employees for our home care group in Lärbro.

Your responsibilities

As an assistant nurse/residential assistant, you will among other things:

• Provide support, motivation, and help to users based on individual needs and approved efforts.
• Perform personal care in the user's home.
• Carry out medical interventions on delegation from licensed personnel.
• Assist with escorting, shopping/groceries, and household-related tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Work as a care contact, responsible for communication between users, relatives, and the organization.
• Draw up, follow up, and work based on implementation plans.
• Document interventions and events in daily work.
• Collaborate with home healthcare, rehabilitation, assistance coordinators, and other home care groups to ensure safe and good care.
• Work flexibly and, if necessary, collaborate with and support other home care groups in northern Gotland.

For the position of assistant nurse within home care, the starting salary range is 29,000–34,000 SEK per month. For the position of residential assistant within home care, the starting salary range is 24,000–30,000 SEK per month. We apply individual salary setting. The final salary is determined based on education, relevant experience, competence, and responsibility in the role, as well as taking into account the current collective agreement.

Who are you?

To be employed as an assistant nurse, you must meet the requirements to use the protected professional title according to current regulations. It is meritorious if you have worked in the care profession and/or elderly care.

To be employed as a residential assistant, upper secondary education is desirable but not a requirement. It is meritorious if you have some form of education focused on care and support, such as a care assistant, and if you have previous experience from similar tasks.

A B-class driver's license is a requirement.

You have personal maturity and are confident in yourself and your professional role. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and have the ability to structure and prioritize your work effectively. You are flexible and can adapt to changed conditions, while also having good cooperation skills and contributing to an open and respectful work climate. You are service-oriented, considerate, and have a genuine interest in helping other people, and you work calmly and systematically with a focus on providing users with safe and good care.

In accordance with the new language requirement, you need to master Swedish well in speech and writing to ensure safe care, good, and correct documentation.
