Welcome to the dietitian department at Region Dalarna! We are looking for a dietitian for our operations within specialized care.

The dietitian department in specialized care is part of a county-wide organization within the Division of Medical Services. We are located at the hospitals in Avesta, Falun, Ludvika, and Mora. Together, we are a team that works closely together, despite being geographically dispersed. We share premises with our dietitian colleagues who work in primary care.

We are currently in an exciting phase where we are reorganizing together with other rehabilitation professions such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and speech therapists. This creates new opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the development of care for our patients. At our workplace, collegial support and collaboration are a natural part of everyday life. Whether you are new to the profession or have experience, we help each other to ensure you receive a good introduction and feel secure in your role.

Working in Dalarna also means proximity to nature and outdoor activities – with excellent opportunities for skiing, hiking, and cycling. There is also a rich cultural life with music, art, and events year-round.

As a dietitian here, you will work broadly within specialized care, providing nutritional treatment for patients and their relatives. You will meet patients individually and in groups, both on wards, at clinics, and via digital contacts. The work is varied and covers many different diagnoses, offering a broad and developing clinical daily routine.

Your workplace will be at one of our hospitals, but you will work in close collaboration with dietitian colleagues across the county. Together, we contribute to equitable and quality-assured care for our patients. You will also be an important support to other healthcare staff regarding nutritional matters.

We are looking for you who are a licensed dietitian.

• You are confident in your professional role, enjoy collaborating with others, and thrive in a workplace where people help each other.
• You have a structured approach to work and can adhere to common working methods and decisions.
• You have good skills in writing, understanding, and documenting in Swedish.
• We would appreciate if you have experience from working within healthcare.

Personal suitability is given great weight.
