About the role

HSB is one of Sweden's largest housing cooperative organizations. They handle a wide range of assignments, assisting clients with practical help, advice, and training to help them achieve their energy goals. The majority of their clients are housing cooperatives, but they also serve commercial and municipal properties such as office and industrial spaces. At the office in Karlstad, approximately 80 colleagues work, eight of whom are Energy Managers. As an Energy Manager, you will conduct energy mapping and simpler energy analyses with the aim of optimizing energy usage in your clients' properties. You will maintain ongoing contact with your clients, acting as a consulting partner throughout the contract periods, and collaborate with both internal colleagues and external suppliers.

Since you will plan and execute much of your work independently in this role, we look for someone who thrives on taking significant responsibility and driving their work forward autonomously. You will be based at the Karlstad office but will also work with clients located in other cities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare energy analyses and energy mappings
• Conduct simpler preliminary studies and technical investigations
• Continuous contact and consulting for your clients

We are looking for you who

• Have an education in energy and environment, or alternatively, previous practical experience from property management (e.g., as an electrician, operations technician, or property technician)
• Have an interest in properties and living environments
• Hold a B-driver's license, as travel occurs both within and outside Värmland
• Speak and write fluently in Swedish and have good knowledge of English
