The role involves

In the role of security specialist, you have a central function in developing, coordinating, and driving security work within the organization. You work both strategically and operationally to support systematic security work, where you, among other things, produce security protection analyses, security protection plans, as well as risk and vulnerability analyses. The role also includes conducting internal controls, supporting and conducting security vetting, and ensuring that routines, processes, and governing documents are continuously developed and followed.

As the local security responsible for our office in Kristianstad, you coordinate and communicate security-related information and serve as an important support to managers and employees in security matters. In parallel with your internal responsibilities, you work as a consultant and security specialist in customer projects within the defense industry, where you contribute your expertise in assignments that place high demands on structure, security awareness, and collaboration. The assignments are primarily carried out from Kristianstad, but travel and on-site work at the customer's location in Stockholm occur.

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, it is required that you undergo and pass a security vetting with register check.

What we are looking for

To thrive in this role, we believe you are an independent and responsible person who finds it easy to create structure and drive issues forward. You are communicative and have the ability to collaborate with many different functions while also being able to work independently. Since the role involves both internal and customer-facing assignments, we see that you have a high level of security awareness, good integrity, and the ability to handle sensitive information in a professional manner.

We are looking for you who have experience working in security-sensitive operations and/or with classified information, preferably from the Swedish Armed Forces or another authority. You have relevant security training from the Swedish Armed Forces or alternatively education from a university or university college that is assessed as relevant for the role.
