The purpose of the Swedish Companies Registration Office's (Bolagsverket) operations is to provide the prerequisites for a stable and well-functioning business community. By registering and providing current and accurate company information, we contribute to increased transparency and security for society's actors. The Crime Prevention Department is responsible for the Swedish Companies Registration Office's crime prevention work. The assignment involves developing the authority's control systems, identifying and handling deviations, as well as analyzing and addressing risks.

Responsibilities

The Swedish Companies Registration Office is now seeking a Unit Manager for the "Avveckla 3" unit within the Crime Prevention Department. This is an opportunity for you who want to combine hands-on leadership with business development in a socially important operation.

As Unit Manager, you are responsible for the unit's operations, budget, results, personnel, and work environment. The unit has approximately 15 employees.

You lead, follow up on, and develop the operations with a focus on quality, legal certainty, and efficiency. The assignment includes ensuring that the operations achieve their goals and driving business development within the area of responsibility.

Furthermore, you are responsible for leading, developing, and following up on the employees' work, as well as creating prerequisites for a sustainable work environment and good results.

You report to the Department Manager and are part of the department's management group. Together with other managers, you are responsible for developing the operations and implementing the department's assignments.

The Swedish Companies Registration Office continues to develop its crime prevention work, which means that the operations are undergoing change. Therefore, you need to thrive in a development-oriented environment and be comfortable with the fact that assignments, ways of working, and priorities may develop over time.

Based on the requirements and needs of the operations, the Swedish Companies Registration Office offers the possibility of remote work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • An academic degree relevant to the assignment or other experience that the employer considers equivalent.
  • At least three years of current experience as a manager with responsibility for personnel, budget, and results.
  • Experience in leading operations with responsibility for both long-term development and daily delivery.
  • Experience in creating collaboration and building good relationships across organizational boundaries.
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.

We consider it meritorious if you have:

  • Experience of management and leadership within public operations.
  • Experience within business economics, accounting, consulting, or other operations closely linked to entrepreneurs' needs.
  • Experience in leading development projects with elements of digitalization or IT development.

To succeed in the role, you also need to have good collaboration skills and be able to build trusting relationships. You communicate clearly, listen to different perspectives, and contribute to good collaboration both within your own operation and with other parts of the organization.
