Are you an empathetic and driven leader who wants to help develop the next generation of combat and tracked vehicles?

We are now looking for two Team Leaders for our development workshop at BAE Systems Hägglunds.

Here you will have the chance to take a key role in a self-sustaining production unit that manufactures and provides feedback on newly developed component and complete vehicle systems. You will work closely with engineering, cross-functionally, and have significant influence on project execution in the workshop.

Your future challenge

BAE Systems Hägglunds is in a strong growth phase due to several new billion-dollar deals. To meet the increased demand, we are now strengthening our development workshop with two Team Leaders.

In this role, you are responsible for leading and supporting a team of approximately 15–17 employees within assembly and welding, or within electrical assembly and logistics.

The team consists of highly competent employees who work independently in their respective areas, while you, as the manager, coordinate the overall picture, create the right conditions, and drive the business forward.

In addition to leading the team, you have overall responsibility for the workshop section and everything that entails – from staffing, planning, and equipment to safety, quality, and daily operations.

You work across all development projects and play a central role in translating technical documentation into early prototypes and mock-ups. You are involved from start to finish – from scheduling and resource estimation to manufacturing execution and follow-up.

Your main responsibilities:

• Plan, lead, and follow up on work in the group – both daily and in the longer term
• Create schedules and resource estimates, and monitor progress against time, quality, and cost
• Take overall responsibility for the workshop section, including staffing, equipment, organization, safety, and ongoing operations
• Manage budget, personnel, and occupational health and safety responsibilities within your area
• Ensure high quality in our work and drive continuous improvements
• Promote a sustainable workload and a safe, pleasant working environment
• Serve as an inspiration and support the team's continuous competence development

Who are you?

We would like you to have:

• A technical degree from university or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in leading others, for example as a team leader, supervisor, or in a project management role
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you also have experience with systematic occupational health and safety work in an industrial environment.
