About the Care Administration

The Care Administration is responsible for healthcare and social care in ordinary and special housing, as well as for individuals in need of municipal health and medical care. The goal is for elderly citizens to live as active and independent a life as possible. The guiding principle in our work is a health-promoting approach, where we highly value teamwork. The administration has over 500 employees.

Job Responsibilities

As a part-time nursing assistant, care assistant, or social care assistant within Nybro Municipality, you will work to support and develop our customers in their daily lives so they can live as independently as possible. No two days are alike, and your workday will vary depending on the needs of our customers.

Your main tasks will include supporting customers in their daily routines, such as personal care, cleaning, meal preparation, and social interaction. You will also be responsible for documenting your various interventions.

Within Nybro Municipality, there are several different units where you can work. You may work in special housing or with customers who remain in their own homes but need support in their daily lives. If you have specific preferences regarding which housing facility or location you wish to work in, please mention this in your application. Solo work is also part of the role.

Qualifications

There are no requirements for previous work experience, but for some positions, primarily within home care, a valid B-class driver's license is required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, as you will play a significant role in our customers' daily lives.
