About the position

We are looking for someone who enjoys providing service and information to our visitors, both in person and via email, phone, and social media. You will staff the Tourist Office together with our destination coordinators. The Tourist Office also serves as the entrance to the Teckning Museum, and you are responsible for ensuring the operations run smoothly during opening hours, which includes the café and educational workshop. In your meetings with tourists and visitors, you provide information about attractions, nature experiences, food and accommodation, events, and activities in a welcoming and professional manner. You will also sell souvenirs, fishing permits, and more. Additionally, you represent the Teckning Museum and give visitors a great experience of Laholm.

Are you the one we are looking for?

You will be the face of Laholm Municipality, so you are naturally service-oriented, cheerful, and positive. Good language skills in Swedish and English are required; German is an advantage.

You preferably have cash register experience, learn new things easily, take initiative, and handle several different tasks in parallel. Having an education or ongoing education within tourism is also an advantage. You need to be proficient in Office and social media such as Facebook and Instagram. Good local knowledge of Laholm Municipality and a good grasp of what there is to see, do, and experience in our vicinity are also requirements. Minimum age 18 years.

Salary

Salary is determined based on the candidate's qualifications for the position.

Salary range: 24,900–30,000 SEK.
