Around 450 dedicated employees work here, working together to keep Borås running in everyday life. We are responsible, among other things, for ensuring that all employees within Borås City receive their salaries, that the city's IT infrastructure functions, that the grid network is operated and maintained, and that roads, green areas, and properties are intact, safe, and well-maintained.

About the OperationsThe Contracting Department is one of six departments within the Service Office. Around 130 people work here in several areas, such as asphalt and streets, site cleaning, construction, water and sewerage, as well as parks and green areas. The largest clients are the Leisure and Public Health Administration, the Technical Administration, the Premises Supply Administration, Borås Energi och Miljö, and Nätkraft Borås. The assignments range from operation and maintenance work to project implementation within reinvestments and investments, both on quarter land and public land, within land and construction projects such as streets, development, district heating, and water and sewerage.
