Do you want to make a difference at night and create a secure existence for our customers?

Due to retirements and expansion, we are now looking for dedicated assistant nurses for our night patrol. In our work, we always start from each customer's individual needs and wishes to create good and close care and support. The work in the night patrol is varied and requires that you are flexible and able to reprioritize when the situation changes – but you are never alone, all work is done with double staffing during the night.

With us, you become part of a developing operation – the night patrol currently consists of four teams, and we are in the middle of an exciting change process where a new organizational structure is emerging.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planned interventions: You go out on planned interventions within a geographical area within Halmstad Municipality.
• Unplanned interventions: You go out on unplanned interventions, which include both care and emergency security alarms during the night within Halmstad Municipality.
• Personal care: You help customers with supervision, hygiene, and other basic needs adapted to the individual.
• Medical tasks: You are responsible for handing over medication as well as performing various medical treatments on delegation from a nurse.
• Vigil: The position also includes sitting vigil when needed to provide extra security, calm, and presence to anxious or seriously ill customers.
• Documentation: You are responsible for ongoing documentation and reporting according to current legislation to ensure the quality of care.

The position includes night work with some time scheduled during the day, for example for meetings and training. The work is scheduled every other weekend. The working hours are 33 hours per week.

Your qualifications

• You are trained as an assistant nurse, preferably with at least 2 years of care experience.
• You have a B driver's license.

You are responsible for working in a person-centered manner with the customer in focus and have experience performing various delegated tasks from the responsible nurse. You have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and use various digital systems without hindrance to document in our document management system according to current legislation. You use and learn to handle the technical aids required in the work.

You are a secure person with an open mind and the ability to put the customer at the center. You have good cooperation skills, both with customers, relatives, and colleagues in the work group as well as partners. You create team spirit, work proactively for a good work climate, and contribute to the work group's efforts to provide the residents with good care and support of high quality. All according to the values of trust, respect, and humility. The work as an assistant nurse presupposes that you can take initiative and be self-reliant.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
