Information about the Swedish Armed Forces and the recruiting unit:
The Government and the Riksdag have tasked the Swedish Armed Forces with strengthening Sweden's defense capability, in a time of uncertain global developments. Bergslagens Artillery Regiment, A 9, is therefore to be re-established in Kristinehamn. The regiment will contribute to increased geographical presence, training of conscripts, and thus the development of artillery capability in southern Sweden. Every day and every hour, our employees make efforts that affect other people's lives, both big and small, at home and around the world.
In the Swedish Armed Forces, there is a strong value system based on openness, results, and responsibility. Professional development and personal health are valued and encouraged. There are good conditions for internal career mobility, wellness programs, and a good balance between work and private life.
An employment with us implies placement in a security class. Swedish citizenship is usually required. Security vetting with register check will be conducted prior to employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be war-posted. The employment also includes an obligation to serve abroad. The meaning of this varies depending on the type of position.
A CV and cover letter must be attached to the application for employment. If you proceed in the employment process, certified copies of grades and certificates must always be presented. Calls from external recruitment agencies and salespeople are declined.
