Main Responsibilities
As a Transport Control Officer at the A 9 Staff, you are part of the regiment's logistics division G4, where you are responsible for transport services. A significant part of the role involves working with the logistics unit to develop procedures for transport operations at the regiment. Another key aspect is holding the role of Unit Transport Leader, where your main task is to support the unit commander in ensuring that transports are carried out resource-efficiently and safely. You also consolidate the unit's needs for unit transports and coordinate these in preparation for exercises and operations.
In the role of Transport Control Officer, you primarily collaborate with the regiment's exercise and training division G7 regarding exercise planning. You also cooperate with authorities, civilian, and military actors in the area, as well as strategic and operational transport control within the Swedish Armed Forces. The role also includes supporting and training transport commanders within the unit, as well as planning, executing, monitoring, and evaluating transports primarily by road, sea, and rail. You also provide training in traffic services within the unit.
The position involves travel in connection with the planning and execution of exercises and operations, both within Sweden and abroad.
REQUIREMENTS/Qualifications
- Specialist Officer SO6 or SO7
- Good experience with computer-based work, especially in Excel and Word
- Experience in planning and coordination work.
- Category B driver's license

QUALIFICATIONS
- LogS SOU Transport Service (or equivalent courses in transport, traffic, and transport control)
- Staff-level position experience
- Experience from a traffic and transport control company
- Training in LOGFAS
- System knowledge in PRIO
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in English
- Training in Dangerous Goods for road, air, sea, and rail.

Other Information
The employment is a permanent full-time position and begins with a six-month probationary period for applicants who are not currently employed by the Swedish Armed Forces.
The workplace is in Kristinehamn.
The work involves some domestic business trips and occasional overnight stays.
Working conditions usually involve a 40-hour work week, but sometimes occur at irregular times, e.g., during exercise conditions.
Start date by agreement.
Individual salary setting applies.
