Willhem is hiring a Facility Technician

Do you want to be an active part of driving Willhem's operational optimization and energy efficiency in Stockholm? We are looking for a Facility Technician for Willhem Stockholm, based at our new area office in Solna, where we are moving in October. If you have an interest and knowledge within operations and want to make a difference, you might be our new colleague.

About the role

As part of Willhem's team in Solna, you will be welcomed by a great group of colleagues with various roles within property management. The property portfolio you will work with consists of approximately 3,000 apartments spread over a relatively large geographical area north of Stockholm. You will play a key role in ensuring stable, cost-effective, and energy-efficient operation of our properties. You will work closely with property managers, building wardens, and operations engineers, contributing to the development of our property portfolio from an operational and energy perspective. The role combines practical fieldwork with analysis, coordination, and some administration.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring optimal operation of district heating plants, heat pump systems, ventilation, and solar power installations.
  • Monitoring, optimizing, and inspecting technical systems, as well as planning and performing maintenance.
  • Handling alarms, troubleshooting, and ensuring that faults in heating and ventilation systems are rectified.
  • Working with control and regulation systems as well as operational monitoring via BMS (Building Management Systems).
  • Performing measurements, balancing, and follow-up of operational and energy parameters.
  • Supporting and developing building wardens within facility technology through guidance and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborating with property managers, operations engineers, and external suppliers.
  • Ordering and following up on repairs, as well as handling documentation and invoice checks.
  • Contributing to energy optimization issues, authority matters, and deviation management.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, we believe you have several years of practical experience from the HVAC or property industry and have a basic understanding of a building's energy balance and technical systems. You understand both flowcharts and drawings and have good computer skills. Whether you currently work as a facility technician or have a background as a pipe or ventilation technician, control/regulation technician, or electrician, and wish to develop and work in a varied and broader role. Vocational training in operations, energy, and property technology is meritorious but not a requirement. Since the work is primarily carried out in our properties, you must have a valid driver's license (Category B).

As a person, you enjoy working outdoors and doing practical work, are solution-oriented with a high sense of service, and have the ability to plan and prioritize your workday. To thrive at Willhem, we believe you like taking significant personal responsibility. You are driven and appreciate being part of a team working together towards common goals.

What we offer

Here you are welcomed to a forward-looking company where you will have significant personal responsibility and opportunities to influence our business forward. We have long-term ambitions for both customers, properties, and employees. Your ideas will be valued, and we are unafraid to test new approaches. You will become part of a team with engaged colleagues and leaders who work for a pleasant, inclusive, and sustainable work environment, where joy and laughter are part of the daily culture. We care about your health and well-being by offering benefits such as a fitness hour and a generous fitness allowance, as well as competence development and regular well-being activities.

Application:

We welcome your application via https://jobb.willhem.se (https://jobb.willhem.se) by August 16th. For questions regarding the position, contact Property Manager Ulrika Sand at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]). Due to holiday periods, questions will be answered as time permits.

A background check containing legal and financial history will be conducted before an employment offer is made.
