Service and Maintenance Technician at Lechner

About the position

We are now looking for a new colleague to join our maintenance team who wants to contribute to the development of our production. Your role

As a Service and Maintenance Technician, you will become an important part of our maintenance team, which currently consists of two people. Together, you are responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable production through preventive and corrective maintenance of our machinery.

The work includes servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining machines and peripheral equipment, as well as participating in development and improvement projects. You will also participate in installations, conversions, and technical upgrades when needed.

Troubleshooting is done both practically in the production area and via PLC systems, making the role varied and developmental. No two days are alike, which places demands on flexibility, initiative, and good collaboration skills.

Working hours vary depending on the season and include either two-shift or 1.5-shift systems. On evening shifts, you are off on Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines, production equipment, and the building.
• Troubleshoot and rectify problems within mechanics, electricity, and automation.
• Participate in the development and efficiency improvement of production processes.
• Document, follow up, and report on performed actions.
• Work in the maintenance system Mainter.
• Participate in technical projects as well as improvement and investment projects.
• Ensure that planned maintenance activities are carried out according to established routines.
• Carry out conversions and extensions related to improvement work.
• Contact machine suppliers and external contractors when necessary.
• Support and train operators in the use of technical equipment.

You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and Production Manager to ensure stable and efficient production.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Some years of experience as a maintenance technician, industrial electrician, or service electrician.
• Experience with troubleshooting in electricity, mechanics, and automation.
• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of PLC systems and basic PLC programming.
• Experience in electrical maintenance and fault resolution within manufacturing industry.
• Good collaboration skills and a solution-oriented approach to work.
• Desire to develop and learn new technologies and work methods.

Merits
