Responsibilities

In the role of Service Engineer, your main focus is within microscopy, where you work with everything from simple stereo microscopes to advanced systems for research, IVF clinics, and industrial customers. You will base your work from home or the office at Nääs Fabriker in Tollered, and your assignments will take place at customer sites in Sweden and partly in Finland. The work is usually performed independently, but you also collaborate regularly with colleagues from the service and sales departments as well as suppliers. More specifically, your tasks will include:

• Service and repair work on Bergman Labora's systems at customer sites, both planned contracts and emergency repairs.
• Install and ensure that delivered equipment functions according to specifications and meets customer expectations.
• Train customers in the operation of the systems.
• Perform calibrations and verifications of the equipment.
• Provide support to customers via phone and email.
• Participate in the sale of service contracts.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in engineering or a life science-related field.
• Previous experience as a technical engineer in a laboratory, company, or as a field technician.
• Interest and/or experience in servicing and repairing laboratory equipment.
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Proficient in PC usage.
