Our Operations and Maintenance department is responsible for supervision, repair, and operation of land, building, and installation areas over time, maintaining good technical status and satisfied customers. This is achieved through close collaboration with customers, other departments within the administration, and other organizations in the city. The department is responsible for conducting inspections required by authorities and contributes to the development of energy-saving measures. We carry out the tasks commissioned by our customers.
Job Responsibilities
We are now looking for an Alarm Engineer to join our work group at the Alarm, Electrical Technology, and Elevator unit. As an Alarm Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, and regulatory compliance of the buildings' alarm and security systems.
You will plan, order, and follow up on the administration's agreements regarding fire alarms, intrusion alarms, access control systems, video surveillance, and sprinkler systems. You will order and be responsible for service visits and audits for the various areas within security installation.
An important part of the job will be preparing materials for annual reports and budgeting for the area. Smaller design projects and/or project management of security systems may also be included in the role.
Qualifications
For this position, we require you to have:
- A university degree in engineering in security systems, electrical engineering, alarms, or similar, or equivalent experience as assessed by the employer
- Several years of work experience in the field
- Good computer skills, particularly experience working with computerized monitoring systems in security
- IT knowledge, specifically regarding alarm transmitters
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
We consider the following to be meritorious:
- Experience with fire alarm installations in buildings
- Certification in the field
- Experience with budgeting and financial work
- Experience with design and project management

In daily work, you demonstrate independence in carrying out tasks, have a structured work style, and enjoy switching between different tasks.
