Aura Rail is looking for a Field Mechanic for rail-bound work vehicles!

Do you want to work with advanced technology and contribute to keeping the railway in top condition? We are now looking for a driven and meticulous mechanic to work with work vehicles and rail vehicles.

About the role
As a mechanic, you will work with the service, maintenance, and repair of work vehicles and rail-bound machinery. You will become a key part of ensuring operational safety and functionality in a technically advanced and safety-critical environment.

Your responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of rail vehicles and work machines
• Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Preventive maintenance according to established procedures
• Documentation of completed work

We are looking for you who

• Have experience as a mechanic, preferably in heavy vehicles, construction machinery, or railways
• Have good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and preferably electrical systems
• Are meticulous, responsible, and solution-oriented
• Enjoy both independent work and teamwork
• Can work flexible hours and travel across the country
• Have a valid driver's license (Category B) (required)

We consider it an advantage if you have experience with rail vehicles or railway maintenance, as well as certifications in relevant areas. Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting is highly valued.
