About the role

As a pipe welder at Jernbro, you work with welding, assembly, and maintenance within the industry. You become an important part of our projects and service assignments where you contribute to ensuring high quality, operational reliability, and long-term solutions for our customers.

The work is varied and is primarily carried out at our customers in the Gothenburg area, but travel and work at other locations may occur depending on the scope and needs of the projects.

Your tasks may include, among other things:

• Welding of pressure-bearing piping systems according to drawings, specifications, and isometrics
• TIG welding of piping systems
• Stick welding (MMA)
• Assembly, repair, and maintenance within the industry
• Reading drawings, quality control, and documentation
• Collaboration with colleagues in mechanics, piping, and industrial maintenance

You will work with customers within, among other things, industry, energy, process industry, and plant operations where quality, safety, and operational reliability are the focus.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a few years of experience as a pipe welder in the industry and who feel confident in TIG and stick welding. You have experience working with pressure-bearing piping systems, good material knowledge, and are accustomed to working from drawings and isometrics.

You are quality-conscious, meticulous, and understand the importance of following requirements and specifications in the work. As a person, you are self-reliant, responsible, and solution-oriented. You enjoy working independently but also collaborate willingly with colleagues from different professional fields to find the best solutions for the customer.

We would like you to have:

• A few years of experience in pipe welding within the industry
• Experience with TIG and stick welding
• Experience welding in pressure-bearing systems
• Good proficiency in reading drawings and isometrics
• Good material knowledge
• Class B driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Basic computer skills

Meritorious

• Valid welding licenses
• Approved welder test
• Experience in pipe assembly or pipe laying
• Experience from the process industry, energy, or petrochemical industry
