Haganässkolan is located in Älmhult in Småland, right near the border with Skåne. We have approximately 1,150 students and offer a wide variety of programs, including university-preparatory and vocational programs, introduction programs, IB programs, Swedish for Immigrants (SFI), adult education, and adapted upper secondary school.

Haganässkolan is more than just a school. It also features a gym, sports facilities, and a swimming pool. Our goal is to give our students the knowledge, courage, and strength to shape and meet a better future.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher with us, you will teach Swedish and possibly one or more other subjects in the upper secondary school's national programs and introduction programs. The position includes mentoring a class/group of students.

You will plan your teaching in collaboration with other teachers and participate in joint assessment before grading. You will actively participate in our development work and collegial learning. We are looking for a professionally skilled teacher who is enthusiastic, collaborative, and creates a positive climate in teaching. We value that you spread joy in work and contribute to solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a certified upper secondary school teacher with qualifications in Swedish and possibly one or more other subjects for upper secondary school. As a teacher, you need to have good pedagogical skills and be able to adapt teaching to the needs of the student group. You need to be able to collaborate, have good communication skills, and have a positive attitude. The role of teacher also requires that you can plan and structure your work effectively.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: August 10, 2026, or as agreed.
