Haganässkolan is located in Älmhult, Småland, right on the border with Skåne. We have approximately 1,150 students and offer a wide variety of programs, including university-preparatory and vocational programs, introductory programs, IB programs, Swedish for Immigrants (SFI), adult education, and adapted upper secondary school.
Haganässkolan is more than just a school. We also have a gym, sports facilities, and a swimming pool. Our goal is to give our students the knowledge, courage, and strength to shape and meet a better future.

Job Description
As a vocational teacher at the upper secondary level, you will plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching in vocational courses within the electrical program. You will participate in development work and collaborate on the vocational courses. The role includes typical teacher duties such as teaching, grading, joint assessment, and mentoring.
You will also contact and coordinate internship placements, as well as maintain contact with companies and the industry through workplace-based learning (APL) and the program council.
You will be part of a base group together with vocational and subject teachers, focusing on student development and goal achievement. In the base group, you will work on planning, conducting, evaluating, and developing teaching based on the organization's goals.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a certified vocational teacher for the Electrical and Energy Programme, or alternatively have relevant vocational training and experience in electrical installation and/or automation. Experience in education/guidance is an advantage. If you do not have a vocational teaching license, there is an opportunity to study for it while working, subject to agreement with the employer.
As a person, you are flexible, creative, and engaged, take responsibility, and share your knowledge with others. You also have good skills in collaborating and communicating with students, parents, and staff. Employment Terms
Type of Employment: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, Start Date: 2026-08-10 or by agreement.
