Are you a handy problem solver who enjoys tinkering, troubleshooting, and getting things working again? Do you have experience from vehicles, construction machinery, or the industry, or are you currently working as a field or maintenance technician? Wirtgen is growing and we now need more dedicated service technicians. We are therefore looking for a service technician for our operations in Alvesta, where you will be based at our Swedish headquarters and work both in a workshop environment and out with customers in southern Sweden.

Here you will become part of an established and cohesive team where you have colleagues, spare parts, technical support, and a workshop close at hand. At the same time, you get the freedom and variety that comes with working out with the customer. You drive a fully equipped service vehicle and have a competent team and an engaged manager backing you up.

Your responsibilities

As a service technician, you work with service, repair, and troubleshooting of our machines, with the main focus on:

• Asphalt pavers from VÖGELE
• Milling machines from Wirtgen
• Compactors from HAMM

You will among other things:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and service machines in the workshop and out with the customer
• Handle warranty cases, upgrades, and commissioning
• Document completed work in an app/computer
• Have daily customer contact and build long-term relationships
• Collaborate with colleagues within service, spare parts, and support to ensure high quality and good service

Your profile

We are looking for you who like to solve technical problems and take pride in delivering good service.

You have:

• Experience working with construction machinery, vehicles, industry, or similar
• Good technical understanding in areas such as electricity, hydraulics, or mechanics
• Alternatively, experience as a field or maintenance technician in another area
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• A valid driver's license (Category B)

• Working hours: Daytime, Monday-Friday
