Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division Close Care, together with the Ambulance Service, Public Dental Health Services, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Primary care is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under "Good and Close Care." Each local care area is an economic unit led by a business manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advice service, youth clinic, and the local care ward Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to work close to patients, with great variety and the opportunity to make a real difference in people's daily lives? We are now offering a permanent position as a District Nurse/Child Health Nurse at the Child Health Center (BVC) at Krokom Health Center.

As a BVC nurse, you work in accordance with the national child health program on behalf of Region Jämtland Härjedalen. Your duties may include home visits, health checks, vaccinations, and parent group meetings.

We have close collaboration with our BVC doctors, involving interdisciplinary visits at certain key ages for the children as well as for specific needs. The most important thing is to be able to meet children and their parents with warmth and professionalism and contribute to a secure start in life. You work independently but always have the support of encouraging colleagues. We work with the concept of "child-safe" and we also have a family center.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist education as a Child Health Nurse or District Nurse. Previous experience working at a BVC is meritorious but not a requirement.

However, we require independent work ability, good interpersonal skills, good teamwork skills, multicultural knowledge, and professional responsibility. Personal suitability is given great weight.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3-6 months, ending: 2027-02-28.
