Support Section at Base Battalion F 21

The Support Section is now looking for an instructor in motor services, also serving as a motor officer, stationed at F 21.

In the role of Instructor/Motor Officer at F 21 Base Battalion, you will be placed in the Support Section. This section includes a section chief, battalion motor officer, coordinator for voluntary activities, and the unit's training and firing range department. The section is responsible for the planning, implementation, evaluation, and development of the battalion's vehicle training at F 21 and at other satellite bases. This includes training both conscript drivers and employed personnel.

The position is in the instructor cadre, but you will serve as a motor officer. The role is planned to evolve into a permanent motor officer position and will be tailored to your qualifications.

Main Responsibilities

In the role of instructor, you will work 50% as a motor instructor/special vehicle instructor and 50% on the planning and development of vehicle services.

Your tasks include, among other things:

• Assist in and be responsible for vehicle service training.
• Plan and conduct driver training.
• Ensure quality in the battalion's motor training.
• Participate as a student in selected courses within the Swedish Armed Forces.
• Follow up and evaluate vehicle services at the unit.
• Act as F 21's representative at certain meetings regarding vehicle services.
• Process and administer matters related to daily operations as determined by the chief.
• Develop training materials and training facilities.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Trained officer or specialist officer.
• Driver's license B & C.
• Trained vehicle driver or special vehicle driver.
• Trained vehicle instructor or special vehicle instructor.
• Good knowledge of working with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience from driver training in the role of instructor or course chief.
• Driver's license BE, CE, D, and/or DE.
• Trained military traffic teacher or military traffic inspector.
• Other military appointments focused on traffic and vehicle services.
