Are you an experienced Security Clearance Officer looking to contribute your expertise to building robust security measures at a vital public authority?

The position is located within the unit responsible for Security and Preparedness. This newly established organization works on tasks aimed at strengthening the authority's capabilities in security, security clearance, cyber security, crisis preparedness, and civil defense.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will hold a key position where you not only work operationally with security clearance but also contribute to strategic development in the field. The area is undergoing significant change, allowing you to help shape the future work. You will have a broad and varied scope of responsibility, working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues within the unit and other parts of the organization. This creates a diverse daily routine.

You will:

  • Support the authority's security clearance work together with your colleagues by creating and improving the authority's frameworks in this subject area.
  • Be part of a unit that provides internal support across the entire subject area of security and security clearance.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as processing register checks, security clearance agreements, etc.
  • Work with the control and follow-up of the authority's security clearance agreements and suppliers.
  • Educate and guide the operations regarding security clearance.
  • Contribute to the further development of operations, processes, and system support.
  • Provide support to operations with special security clearance assessments when needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • Post-secondary education from a university/university college/university college of vocational studies or equivalent work experience that the employer deems relevant.
  • Broad experience within the entire security clearance area.
  • Experience working with personnel security.
  • Experience working with security clearance agreements, including control and follow-up.
  • Experience working with information security.
  • Very good ability to communicate and express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Meritorious experience and competence:

  • Experience of working in a public authority.
  • Experience of working with operational development.
  • Education and experience in signals security work.

About the Employment

Employment type: Permanent full-time position with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.

The position is security classified, and a security investigation including register check will be conducted on the final candidate. Swedish citizenship and a passed security investigation are required before a decision on employment is made.
