Your role with us

As a cleaner, you are independently responsible for daily cleaning, deep cleaning, and special cleaning according to cleaning instructions. The work is performed during daytime starting at 06:00 and involves varied facility management in schools, daycare centers, and preschools in classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, gymnasiums, etc. Cleaning in other types of premises within Kristianstad Municipality is also included in some positions.

The work is physically demanding at times, and we use cleaning machines in environments that allow for it. To register completed cleaning, an iPad with the digital business system Clean Pilot is used.

As a cleaner, you work in a team where you collaborate and meet regularly. You also have close contact with the unit's cleaning coordinator regarding facility management, purchasing, etc., as well as daily contact with customers and staff who are in the premises you clean.

Work at other cleaning sites than the regular placement may occur if needed.

Geographically, Unit 3 is located with Näsby as the base but also parts of central Kristianstad as well as Arkelstorp, Österslöv, and Fjälkestad. Unit 2 is located in central Kristianstad.

Who are we looking for?

We want you to have a completed upper secondary education, and if you also have facility management training such as SRY, PRYL, or similar, it is an advantage. Previous experience working as a cleaner is an advantage, as is knowledge of cleaning equipment and detergents used in facility management. Experience working with cleaning machines and/or cleaning robots is also a plus.

Since communication is an important part of the job, as you will come into contact with many people during the workday, you must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. We work in the digital business support system Clean Pilot, which is used for daily registration of cleaning tasks and for our long-term improvement work. Therefore, you need to have basic computer skills to be able to use apps and functions on a mobile phone and iPad. In our digitalization journey, the goal is also to work with more cleaning robots to improve both the work environment and quality, so courage and interest in trying new technical aids are desirable.

Your personal qualities are important to us as the work is largely independent, which requires that you can take responsibility for the cleaning sites assigned to you but also that you can plan and prioritize your tasks. You also need to be flexible as we help each other solve tasks when needed. We want you to have orientation skills and be able to read and understand cleaning instructions and drawings to be able to find and organize work within premises as well as between different cleaning sites.

Since the work is sometimes physically demanding, it is important that you have good physical fitness and are mobile.

For the position in Unit 3, you are required to have a Category B driver's license and access to your own car. For the position in Unit 2, a Category B driver's license is desirable.

When a candidate is offered employment, an extract from the police criminal record is required according to regulations in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act.
