Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who wants to help develop a modern and high-tech production that is constantly in motion.

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will work with both preventive and corrective maintenance in our advanced machine park. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, drive improvements, and contribute with experience, structure, and technical know-how in daily work.

You will become a key part of ensuring operational reliability, stability, and continued development in our production.

The machine park consists of, among other things, CNC machines, multi-operation machines, lathes, grinding and gear processing machines, as well as various automation solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Preventive and corrective maintenance
• Troubleshooting and repair within mechanics and electricity
• Root cause analysis and improvement work
• Contact with suppliers and external contractors
• Participation in technical projects and investments
• Contribute to the development of working methods and maintenance strategies

We are looking for you who

• Have technical education in areas such as electricity, automation, or industry
• Have several years of experience in maintenance within the manufacturing industry
• Are accustomed to working with CNC machines
• Thrive in a senior and autonomous role
• Are solution-oriented, structured, and team-oriented

Additional qualifications include experience with automation, Industry 4.0, electrical troubleshooting, and maintenance systems.

We normally start with a fixed-term employment so that both you and we get a chance to get to know each other properly before moving on to a permanent position with IQ or one of our client companies. Depending on your background and references, it may naturally be relevant to have a permanent position directly from the start.

You will receive a fixed monthly salary and other benefits according to the technical agreement, which is the collective agreement that we and most of our customers are affiliated with.
