Midwife for Hörnefors Health Centre

Primary Care Area South consists of the health centres in Teg, Hörnefors, and Nordmaling. Hörnefors is part of Umeå Municipality with approximately 4,000 inhabitants. We have just over 3,700 registered patients, and the Health Centre is located 30 km from Umeå. It is easy to get to Hörnefors by car, bus, and via the Botnia Line railway. We offer stimulating and developmental work with great variety.

At Hörnefors Health Centre, you will work in a well-functioning team and join a workplace with a big heart and strong cohesion. We strive to be accessible and offer our patients engaged care and good treatment. Here, patients with most medical conditions receive support to improve their own health.

We are now looking for a midwife on a part-time basis, approximately 40%, for Hörnefors Health Centre.

This is an internal recruitment, and the advertisement is directed solely to existing staff within Region Västerbotten.

Job Responsibilities

As a midwife with us, you work towards both the health centre and the clinic where you have your primary employment. In your role, you contribute knowledge and dedication that make people feel safe. You meet patients at our family centre/health centre of all ages, and the work is varied, involving pregnancy monitoring, contraception prescribing/advice, parent education courses, and gynaecological health examinations.

Qualifications

For this job, you need to be a trained midwife with prescribing rights. Experience in primary care is meritorious.

You are a present and warm person who, with expert knowledge and care, sees the patient and their relatives. You have the ability to structure your work and are someone who wants to drive the development of the operations forward.
