Do you have a passion for teaching, inspiring, and developing young people through music? Then you could be our next music teacher!
Who are we?
Klingsborgsskolan is a school for grades 7–9 located in the Klingsberg district, between Hageby and central Norrköping. The school consists of two units: a regular comprehensive school and an adapted comprehensive school. The regular school is led by a principal and an assistant principal, while the adapted school is led by a principal. Many exciting things are happening at Klingsborgsskolan, and we are looking for you who want to join us on our journey into the future.
Klingsborgsskolan has been newly renovated with facilities inaugurated in 2020, and we are proud of the spaces we have at our disposal. Starting from the academic year 2026/2027, the regular school will consist of a total of nine classes, distributed as three classes per grade. The adapted school includes both subject-focused and subject-area-focused streams, with a total of five classes.
Klingsborgsskolan has previously participated in the project "Collaboration for the Best School." This is a project commissioned by the government to the Swedish National Agency for Education with the aim of raising knowledge results and increasing equity within and between schools.
In the spring of 2018, a comprehensive analysis and mapping of the school's needs was conducted, resulting in a tailored action plan to implement changes and improvements. Although the project ended in the spring of 2021, development work continues in-house. It is a major initiative that we are proud to have been part of.

Your responsibilities
As a teacher at Klingsborgsskolan, you are responsible for teaching and planning in your subject, as well as collaborating with colleagues regarding students' knowledge development. You actively participate in the school's, work group's, and subject group's joint tasks, contributing your own ideas and experiences. The position includes teaching music in both the regular and adapted comprehensive schools, so you need to be well-versed in the curriculum for each school form.
We are a multicultural school where teaching is adapted to a language- and knowledge-developing approach, and lessons are designed based on a common lesson structure.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are a certified music teacher for grades 7–9. Previous teaching experience is merit-worthy. A requirement for the position is that you have good communication skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
We are a school facing positive changes, and we are looking for you who enjoy working with development and improvement issues. You like learning new things and see opportunities in change.
We see that you are skilled at organizing and planning your work. You take a natural leadership role and create engagement and involvement around you. It is of great importance that you easily establish and maintain relationships with students and colleagues.
You also have an understanding that people absorb knowledge in different ways and can adapt your method of conveying knowledge to the recipient.
