You now have the opportunity to work within Falu Municipality's Child and Student Health Centre, with placements at two secondary schools: Bjursåsskolan and Västra skolan.
The Child and Student Health Centre consists of five units, three of which are child and student support units with cross-professional teams. The school is characterized by a safe and family-like environment where relationships and closeness between students and staff are central. In the Bjursås area, there is an additional counselor focused on the preschool to grade 6 perspective. Västra skolan (grades 7–9) has around 500 students and is centrally located in Falun. Here, there is proximity to the city's cultural offerings, such as the theater, Dalarna Museum, the city library, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Falun, creating good opportunities to integrate the outside world into teaching. There is also an additional counselor at Västra skolan.
