About the assignment:

A young woman with visual and hearing impairments is looking for a companion to go to the gym with her once a week. According to the client's wishes, she would like you to be a woman in her age group, between 30 and 45 years old. You should be empathetic and helpful. It is a plus if you are a student, as she prefers flexibility regarding days and times. Initially, she would like escort services in the mornings, but this may change to afternoons later in the autumn.

You should speak clearly and face her directly due to her hearing impairment.

Your qualifications:

You do not need experience in sign language or visual escorting. Most importantly, she wants a woman in her age group whom she can communicate with.

About the position:

2 hours/week, totaling 8 hours/month. Initially, one morning per week. Start date: ASAP.

As an escort, you accompany a client with a disability to various activities. This could involve shopping, visiting a museum, or perhaps having coffee.

As a relief caregiver, you relieve relatives, for example, of a child with a disability at home or in the local area. This allows parents to have some personal time with other siblings.

According to the Act on Register Checks and God Omsorg's policy, anyone working with minors must present an extract from the police's criminal and suspicion register before employment.
