Welcome to Housing Support in Hässelby-Vällingby!

We provide support to adults with primarily psychiatric/neuropsychiatric disabilities.

The operations are divided into two teams, a Hässelby team and a Vällingby team. Here we work housing support workers, coordinators, and unit managers.

Your role

In the role of a housing support worker, you support adults with psychiatric/neuropsychiatric disabilities with daily activities such as weekly planning and structure, cleaning, laundry, healthcare and authority contacts, daily economy, cases, etc.

You base your work on the clients' individual needs and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach, respecting individual self-determination and abilities.

Using public transport, walking, or cycling, you make home visits on your own and carry out cases in the local area together with the client.

Your tasks include documentation in the form of creating implementation plans and journaling. The work also involves collaboration with assistance coordinators and other important parties regarding the individual.

Working hours are daytime weekdays, but working hours may change in the future.

You are part of a work group with colleagues, coordinators, and unit managers.

Your qualifications and experience

For this position, the following is required:

• Nursing program with a focus on psychiatry or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Experience with documentation in the form of creating implementation plans and journaling.
• You master the Swedish language in speech and writing.

Meritorious is that:

• You have worked with the target group, in the role of housing support worker or another similar position.

A sense of responsibility combined with the ability to work independently is of great importance. You are empathetic in meetings with other people, stress-resistant, secure, and have a genuine interest in working in the profession.
