To our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy industry, we are now looking for three Quality Inspectors for the Purchasing Department for assignments at their sites in Finspång, the United Kingdom, or Italy.

This assignment offers you the opportunity to work in an international and forward-looking environment with many development possibilities.
This is initially a 12-month consultancy assignment via Unik Resurs, with very good opportunities for extension.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Dimensional Inspector – Purchasing Department
Location: Finspång (1 position), United Kingdom (1 position), Italy (1 position)
Do you want to work with quality assurance in an international environment?
We are now looking for a Dimensional Inspector for the purchasing organization, focusing on raw cast and finished cast components used in gas and steam turbines. The role involves significant independent responsibility where you ensure that suppliers' components meet established requirements through precise dimensional checks and quality audits.
You will become part of a global team and collaborate with colleagues and suppliers worldwide to ensure the highest quality in the supply chain.
About the Role
As a Dimensional Inspector, you will:
- Plan, execute, and follow up on dimensional checks of both raw cast and finished cast components at suppliers.
- Review technical documentation and ensure that components meet current specifications and drawing requirements.
- Identify, document, and communicate deviations and contribute to establishing appropriate corrective actions.
- Drive and participate in supplier qualification and development with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Implement preventive quality measures at suppliers to reduce the risk of future quality issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and international teams to develop and improve quality processes.
- Perform internal audits of technical drawings and specifications.
Travel
The role involves regular travel, both nationally and internationally, including intercontinental travel.

Your Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
- Technical education in mechanical engineering, production technology, metalworking, or a corresponding field.
- Several years of experience in dimensional control and quality work within the manufacturing industry.
- Documented experience in quality assurance and quality processes.
- Good understanding of reading drawings and measurement technology.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
- Very good collaboration and communication skills.
- A structured work approach with high precision and quality awareness.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- A professional and confident attitude in dialogue with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Fluent English skills, both spoken and written.
Merits
It is an extra advantage if you have experience with:
- 3D collected and evaluated measurement data.
- Quality methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- International supplier work within the manufacturing industry.
