Our assistants often stay for several years because the assignment offers a combination of significant personal responsibility, intellectual stimulation, and pure joy in work. You will become the voice of reason and the right-hand person in the daily life of a charming, active, and developable 8-year-old. The goal of your work is to actively create a methodology for the child to build independent thinking, communication, problem-solving, and intellectual abilities. The child has strong capabilities and thrives by having people around them who have high and active expectations!

You step into a humorous, energetic, and creative little family, where the ceiling is high and the pace is at times intense. The child's mother works professionally as a dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher, which characterizes the environment with much creativity and expression. The child appears on SVT, Netflix, and in advertising contexts, which means no day is like the other. Your field of work extends from structured teaching at home, in school environments, and "wherever you end up for the day," to being the child's leader, teacher, and social interpreter, as well as ensuring consistency and safety during TV recordings, dance performances, modeling assignments, doctor visits, and all spontaneous adventures.

We are therefore looking for someone who genuinely enjoys a lively and eventful context where no day really looks the same.

Your main tasks

The goal of the assistance is not just to make the day work and to help the child with their basic needs: food, hygiene, communication. This is a small individual with a lot of knowledge, ability, personality, and humor! The goal is that YOU constantly work to move the child's knowledge, understanding, independence, and abilities forward.

Active teaching: You plan and carry out individualized activities within reading, writing, mathematics, communication, and everyday knowledge. You are mentally sharp and active at all times. You are analytical, strategic, create your own material, test new methods, analyze what works, and follow the child's progression over time.

Safety: Another very central part of the assignment is safety and risk assessment. You stay one step ahead, identify risks, and analyze situations quickly, are quick-witted, sharp, and physically active to prevent mishaps, while the child gets the opportunity to explore, try things themselves, and gradually manage more things on their own.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary:

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts".

We offer positions at 75–100% and 50–75%.

The degree of employment and schedule are determined by agreement.

Introduction and training:

As soon as possible after agreement!

You should be fully trained and self-sufficient by August 1st at the latest, with the ambition to work full-time or part-time on a rolling schedule within the framework of these days/times:

• Monday: 08:55–21:00
• Tuesday: 07:00–22:00
• Wednesday: 07:00–22:00
• Thursday: 07:00–22:00
• Friday: 08:25–13:00/15:00/18:00/20:00

Being employed at Humana

As a personal assistant, you work within the framework of LSS (The Act on Support and Service to Certain Persons with Functional Impairments) and provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance. Every customer is unique, and the tasks vary based on the customer's needs. In the role, you safeguard the customer's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making daily life function safely and smoothly.

To start an employment with Humana, you must be able to present a valid ID document as well as any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a certificate of conduct from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record register prior to a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
