About the role

We are now looking for a project manager who wants to take a central role in the development of complex and safety-critical systems for future aircraft. You will become part of a specialist organization working with overall system design and technical development, with a focus on translating advanced technology into functioning holistic solutions.

In this role, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving technical development projects throughout the entire development chain. You lead the work forward based on the project's goals regarding time, technology, and economics, and act as a link between engineers, technical leaders, project management, and other stakeholders. The role is close to operations and suits you if you thrive by being present in the technical day-to-day rather than working solely administratively.

You will work with complex systems where several technology areas need to be integrated and interact. The projects are characterized by long development cycles, high quality requirements, and a high pace. As a project manager, you are expected to create structure, make decisions, and ensure that the work moves forward while building strong relationships with both internal and external partners.

Your profile

We believe you have experience in project management or technical leadership within the aviation, defense, automotive, or other advanced technology industries. You may, for example, have worked on the development of aircraft, embedded systems, system integration, or safety-critical products. Experience from operations where complex systems must function as a whole is seen as particularly valuable.

For those coming from the automotive industry, experience in advanced system development, technical project management, or working in large development organizations is highly relevant. If you have also worked in environments where functional safety, system integration, or supplier management has been a natural part of everyday life, it is a big plus.

As a person, you are a confident and engaged leader who is motivated by helping people succeed together. You are unpretentious, communicative, and happy to share your experience with less experienced colleagues. At the same time, you have the ability to create direction, prioritize in complex situations, and drive the work forward even when conditions change.

Requirements for the position:

• Several years of experience in technical project management or technical leadership within complex product development
• A degree in engineering in fields such as technical physics, electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
• Experience from the aviation, defense, automotive, or other technically advanced industries
• For this position, you must undergo and pass the security clearance according to current regulations, which may require specific citizenship
