Kitchen Assistant for Large-Scale Catering – On behalf of our client
We are currently looking for a meticulous and hardworking kitchen assistant for a large-scale catering facility. If you are accustomed to working in a fast-paced and structured environment, have an eye for detail, and enjoy supporting kitchen operations, this might be the job for you.
About the role:
As a kitchen assistant in a large-scale catering environment, you will be a vital part of the kitchen team. Your duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing ingredients and simple cooking tasks
- Assisting with food service
- Dishwashing and cleaning the kitchen and serving areas
- Maintenance of kitchen equipment and machinery
- Assisting with food waste management and consumable supplies
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety protocols
Work is performed according to a fixed schedule, and hours may vary depending on the nature of the assignment.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in large-scale catering, institutional kitchens, or similar settings (preferred but not required)
- Is meticulous, flexible, and possesses a strong work ethic
- Can work efficiently at a high pace
- Is used to working in a team and taking initiative
- Has good knowledge of hygiene routines and occupational health and safety regulations
