Drift and Operational Planning seeks seasonal worker for green environments

At the Technical and Service Administration, we are responsible for what makes Enköping function – from water and roads to public spaces, properties, and services. We plan, build, develop, and manage with a clear focus on sustainability, quality, and the big picture.

Within Drift and Operational Planning, we are approximately 35 employees who are passionate about maintaining and developing our green environments. We take care of parks, forests, streets, and other outdoor areas – all to create an attractive city for both residents and visitors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a seasonal employee who wants to help take care of our beautiful Enköping during the peak season.

As part of our wonderful team, you will work with:

• Maintenance of parks, green areas, playgrounds, and street environments
• Watering, mowing, and weed control
• Cleaning and litter picking
• Deep cleaning of outdoor areas, such as schoolyards

Your work makes a difference every day as you contribute to creating clean, green, and welcoming environments for everyone in Enköping.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• Have horticultural education or experience in similar work
• Have an interest in urban environments and green outdoor areas
• Have a B driver's license
• Preferably have some computer skills

• Self-initiative and take responsibility for your tasks

EMPLOYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 11 days - 3 months, Start date: As soon as possible, End date: 2026-09-30.

In connection with the interview, you will need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or alternatively a certificate of residence together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.

As part of our recruitment process, the final candidate will need to present an extract from the criminal record register ("Control of own information"). The extract is ordered by the applicant from the Police Authority.
