We are now looking for a Maintenance Technician who wants to strengthen our operations and contribute to a safe, efficient, and well-functioning port.

We now need a Maintenance Technician who can strengthen our operations."

Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician at Södertälje Port, you play a key role in the operations and are responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery, vehicles, and infrastructure. Together with your colleagues at the port, you ensure high operational reliability of the production equipment, both proactively and reactively. You report in relevant systems, drive improvement work, and handle issues that arise within your area of responsibility.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon, and begins with a six-month probation period.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A technical high school education with a focus on electricity/automation or equivalent
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance
• Category B driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Basic knowledge of the Office suite

You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner with quality and safety in focus. The role requires flexibility, as the work is event-driven, as well as good collaboration and communication skills. You share our core values: simple, personal, open, and brave.

It is meritorious if you have electrical qualifications (A, AL, or B), Category C driver's license, forklift or lift certificate. Order management, hot work permits, PLC experience, troubleshooting, computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), and an interest in occupational health and environmental issues are also seen as advantages.
