About the job
Verdis is responsible for waste collection in parts of Stockholm, with Stockholm Vatten och Avfall as the client and partner. To strengthen the department, we are now looking for engaged and positive environmental workers with a Category C driver's license and YKB certification.

As an environmental worker, you play a key role in the company. You are Verdis face to the public and become one of our everyday heroes helping to keep Stockholm clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the cleaning tasks are carried out in accordance with the company's routines and our client's requirements. You are based at our depot in Älvsjö and report to the local management.

Your duties include, among other things:

• Collection and transport of waste
• Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment
• Incident reporting
• Daily maintenance of vehicles and superstructures

Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has a Category C driver's license and YKB certification and who masters the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

The following experience and skills are considered meritorious:

• Experience driving heavy vehicles
• Knowledge of heavy vehicles
• Experience in some form of waste collection
• Local knowledge (Stockholm)
• Good computer skills

Start: As agreed (as soon as possible)
Employment type and scope: Permanent, full-time (probationary period applies).
Working hours: We have operations Monday to Friday with working hours starting at 05:30.
