In the role of Technical Property Manager, you will work in close collaboration with your other colleagues in the team. The team consists of colleagues in various roles such as customer manager, economist, operations technician, and building caretaker. This position is suitable for you who are looking for a role where you get to work broadly with many different aspects related to technical property management and want to contribute to developing attractive living environments.

What will you do?

As a Technical Property Manager, you are the extended arm of the housing cooperative and the property owner, and you are the one who keeps track of the property's condition and renovation needs. You will work in an advisory role with many customer contacts. For example, you will plan and conduct overall supervision and maintenance inspections, as well as prepare and revise maintenance plans.

You analyze operational and maintenance needs, identify profitable investments, and highlight proposals for upselling based on customer needs. You ensure and drive ongoing maintenance, handle insurance issues and disturbance cases, and ensure that authority inspections and statutory controls are carried out. You are a support and sounding board for the company's customer manager in their advisory role.

The role also includes assignments as a board member in the boards of housing cooperatives. This means you will have an advisory role and participate in board meetings.

Who are you?

You have a degree from university/college or equivalent with a focus on building and/or property technology, or work experience that we assess as equivalent. You should have knowledge of laws and authority requirements for the area. You have previous experience working with customer contact, and good ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have previous experience with board work.

As a person, you thrive working independently under your own responsibility. You have the ability to be business-minded and see customers' current and future needs. Furthermore, it is important that you can collaborate in an active and listening manner with both colleagues and customers, and come up with improvement initiatives.

Experience working with common areas (samfälligheter) is seen as a major merit. Experience with commercial properties is also seen as advantageous.

The position requires a B driver's license and access to a personal car.

About the position

The position is a permanent full-time employment.

You will base yourself in Köping for the position, and work can take place across the entire market area. The Mälardalen market area includes towns such as Västerås, Eskilstuna, Köping, Sala, Hallstahammar, and Surahammar.
