Do you want to work in a vibrant hotel environment where no two days are alike and guest service is always at the center? We are now looking for an engaged and solution-oriented Property Technician who wants to be part of our property department at our sister hotels, Hotel C Stockholm and Nordic Light Hotel – both located at Vasaplan, just a stone's throw from Stockholm Central Station.
About Us
Hotel C Stockholm and Nordic Light Hotel are two vibrant, urban hotels within Nordic Hotels & Resorts, part of Strawberry. With a total of over 530 hotel rooms, about twenty conference facilities, outstanding restaurants, and a unique collaboration with ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi at ICEBAR Stockholm, we create memorable experiences for our guests around the clock – all year round. Here, the pulse of the city is combined with a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and design.
About the Role
As a Property Technician, you will become a key figure in our daily operations. You will work both independently and in a team, responsible for ensuring that the hotels' premises, technology, and property functions maintain the highest standards for guests and employees. No two days are alike – you will work with everything from technical maintenance and repairs to energy optimization and simple carpentry.
Working with us also means being part of a vibrant hotel environment where guest service and interactions are always in focus. You will meet colleagues from other departments and guests daily, and your contribution will become an important part of the overall experience – from first impression to departure.
Your responsibilities include:
- Operation and maintenance of buildings, installations, and facilities
- Daily repairs and service work
- Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and environmental requirements
- Contributing to energy optimization and sustainable operations
- Collaborating with suppliers and following up on service agreements
- Being part of the hotel's safety and fire protection work
- Always keeping the guest experience in focus
We believe that you
We are looking for someone with long experience in property management or someone who is just starting their career. Most importantly, we value curiosity, engagement, and a desire to develop together with us.
- Experience with property maintenance, operations, or technical maintenance (electricity, plumbing, carpentry, or similar) is meritorious.
- If you are at the beginning of your career, we offer an environment where you can grow and learn in a supportive team.
- Regardless of background, we believe you are practical, solution-oriented, and have an eye for detail.
- You thrive with both independent work and teamwork.
- You are flexible, structured, and service-oriented.
- You communicate fluently in Swedish and preferably English.
What We Offer
- A chance to be involved from the start in our new property organization and influence how we work moving forward.
- A workplace with a warm culture where we win and lose as a team.
- Opportunities to develop within a large and expanding hotel group.
- Employee benefits within Strawberry, including discounts and free nights at hotels.
- Wellness allowance and collective agreement.
- A working environment in the heart of Stockholm, where no two days are alike.
Practical Information
The positions are permanent full-time (100%) roles, with a 6-month probation period. Start date by agreement in summer/autumn 2026. Selection and interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
