Showroom Sales Assistant / Hostess

Malmö (Jägersro)

Part-time position | 30–40 hours per week during the summer, with the possibility of full-time employment in the autumn.

You will work closely with our team in customer service, B2B, marketing, and warehouse operations. We are a cheerful group of approximately 15–20 people.

Hill Ceramic is now looking for a showroom sales assistant for our new showroom in Malmö. This role is perfect for you if you have retail experience, preferably in the tile, porcelain, or bathroom industry. You enjoy customer contact, like sales, and want to help create an inspiring experience for our customers.

About the role

As a showroom hostess at our company, you will be a key part of the customer experience in our newly opened showroom. You will assist customers with everything from inspiration and material selection to products within tiles, porcelain, bathrooms, and outdoor environments.

The role involves working weekdays, weekends, and during the summer, which means we are looking for someone who is flexible and thrives in a lively showroom environment with a high pace.

You will:

• Welcome and assist customers in the showroom
• Guide customers regarding tiles, porcelain, bathrooms, and outdoor environments
• Work on sales targeting both private individuals and business customers
• Create quotes and work in our digital systems
• Ensure the showroom is always inspiring and welcoming
• Be part of our continued investment in the showroom and customer experience

We are looking for you who:

• Have retail experience and background in store operations, customer service, and sales
• Have experience from the tile, porcelain, or bathroom industry
• Are social, service-oriented, and enjoy meeting people
• Have a sense for color, form, and materials
• Are flexible and can work weekdays, weekends, and during the summer
• Are structured and comfortable with digital systems
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and like taking responsibility
• Live in or near Malmö
• Have a driver’s license and a car
