We are looking for you to join Sidsjö Independent Primary School (grades F-6), a school unit with approximately 380 students located in a beautiful natural area by Sidsjön.

As a school nurse at our school, you will work as an integral part of the student health team, guided by the Health and Medical Services Act and the Education Act.

You will work in close collaboration with teachers and the student health team to provide the best possible conditions for learning. We believe that a student's health is crucial for their academic development, and we are passionate about ensuring the best outcomes for every student.

Your responsibilities as a School Nurse include:

• Conducting health examinations, health conversations, vaccinations, minor medical interventions, and consultations with students.
• Contributing medical expertise to the school's health-promoting and preventive work at the student, group, and organizational levels.
• Collaborating with other professions internally as well as with other actors in the municipality or region.

You will drive the student health work together with your colleagues and the rest of the pedagogical staff to contribute to the students' goal achievement. You will be part of the school's Student Health Team.

We are an EHT (Student Health Team) that works with an open and inviting climate, valuing the different professions within our team. The role of the school nurse is central and contributes significantly to creating a holistic view of the individual student, as well as in the promoting and preventive work at the group level.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, we look for:

• A nursing license and a completed advanced education as a pediatric nurse, district nurse, or school nurse.
• Previous experience from student health services in primary school is an advantage.
• Strong ability to collaborate.
